Photography

I photograph each of the bottles in the collection using an iPhone Pro Max in conjunction with a smartphone mount made by Ulanzi and a miniature photo light box studio made by Puluz. I control the camera via an Apple Watch with its stock Camera Remote app, and I use an iPad Pro as a reference monitor via the screen mirroring app ApowerMirror, installed on both the iPhone and the iPad. For post processing, I use Affinity Photo, a photo editing software application. With it, I crop each photo square and remove the background which I replace with a consistent one that I created in Affinity Designer, a vector graphics software application. I clean up and adjust the images, and then I export two versions of each: one a low resolution JPG file for this website, and the other a high resolution PNG file for a book that I created with Affinity Publisher page layout software.
